Permission – Set the stage for honest reflection.
My sense is that this is an area of your work or life that you feel a little stuck?
Would it be useful to explore some ways to move past that feeling of stuck?
Disrupt Their World – Use questions, assessments, or observations to challenge their current perspective.
One way to begin might be to do an assessment. I will send you what I think might be helpful, work through it and then lets chat again next week.
When you think about this topic in your business, what do you feel is the primary thing standing in your way of the progress you desire? … why do you think that primary obstacle exists? OK, well why do you think that cause of the primary obstacle occurs?
May I offer an observation (not a smart answer) for you to reflect on?
Offer Encouragement – Share personal experiences or stories from others to inspire and motivate.
Wow where you find yourself takes me way back to when I was (insert situation), that deep feeling that (insert the feeling you had). Now looking back I can see how that brought focus and clarity into my business, taught me to trust and grow. I am on this journey with you perhaps just a few yards ahead but I can see how you will grow and learn in this and we will work through it together.
Curate Future-Focused Exercises – Include tools like scenario planning or limiting beliefs exercises to help reimagine the future.
Connect with an Expert – Provide access to someone who can offer deeper insights or guidance.
Example connecting with Brett with Bob Long. Connecting Chris with Paul Pagnato.
Follow-Up – Support them in following through on their action plans. Just a quick text – how is your Fund of fund plan moving along? What did you learn from Bob Long.
