A conversation with Mats Tunehag
Mats Tunehag is Chairman of BAM Global and a pioneer in the global Business as Mission movement. For more than two decades, he has helped shape a vision of business that integrates commercial excellence with intentional financial, social, environmental, and spiritual impact.

In 2002, Mats initiated and co-led the first global think tank on Business as Mission, which helped produce the Lausanne Paper on BAM and the 2004 BAM Manifesto.
He later helped lead a second global think tank involving more than 30 working groups and convened the Global Consultation on the Role of Wealth Creation for Holistic Transformation. His work has also included leadership within the Lausanne Movement and World Evangelical Alliance, as well as involvement in investment initiatives supporting businesses in Asia and the Arab world.

Having worked in more than half the countries of the world, Mats brings a global perspective on the power of sustainable enterprise to create opportunity, strengthen communities, and restore human dignity. Central to his work is the conviction that wealth creation is not merely a means of funding charitable initiatives, but can itself be an expression of God's calling to serve others and contribute to human flourishing.
